Honours board: 2007 & 2008: English senior champion. 2008: European youth champion in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. How long have you been competing in your sport? Eight years. How did you first get involved in your sport? My parents took me to watch my granddad playing in the local league. There was a table free so I just picked up a bat and had a go. How often do you train? Two three-hour sessions every day, Monday to Friday, and then club matches at the weekend. Any interests outside your sport? Spending time with my girlfriend, family and friends. Goal for 2010: To rise up the senior world rankings. Goal for 2012: An Olympic medal.
